Why I can’t shutdown my PC?

Did you experience a hang when the computer attempts to shut down? Seems it is weird you get this unknown error! Even you press Ctrl+Alt+Del hot key, it doesn’t work! Nothing you can do besides forcibly turn off the power.
You computer many not shutdown due to many reasons. In the article, we focus on some main causes, hope it can help you solve the problem.
1. The biggest possibility is your computer get a corrupt driver. Any software or hardware need a driver to connect it to your computer. If the driver are unfortunately get damage, you may face may registry problem including blue screen, PC freeze, computer not shutdown problem.
You many get a damage driver because you install a incompatible driver or some DLL file get missing. Also hardware conflict can cause this error.

2. Temporary files.

5. Some programs still running in the background, so you can not shutdown your PC. Just run manager task to disable those process.
