Live PC Care is a Misleading Scam
Live PC Care is a fake antispyware application that performs bogus online scans and reports threats and infections to the user. This rogue security program purposely misleads you by informing you through continuous security alerts that your PC is infected and threats have been detected. This is simply an attempt to frighten you, so that you will purchase the product to remove these parasites. It is a complete scam.
This program display constant security warnings, and invites you to perform a free scan to detect infected files. Supposedly, Live PC Care will detect spyware and other parasites with this scan, then remove them. You are not advised until the scan completes that you have to buy the full product in order to remove the threats. It really doesn't matter. This application cannot do any of the things it claims.
What malware does
Malware can damage your PC, but mostly it is a nuisance and threat to your personal information. It tracks your online activities, which includes the searches you perform and the websites you visit. Personal passwords, credit card numbers and other business data may be accessed and transmitted to remote servers. It also may place additional spyware on your PC as well.
